  2. I agree with the first ten. However, Jay Jay Okocha should rank first owing to his long time in the Nigerian colours and his significant achievements with the team-1 Nations cup trophy, 1st runner-up, 3 bronze medals at Nations cup, 3 world cup tournaments, 1 Olympic gold. Kanu next at second! Julius Aghahowa is ranked 37th. Disagree again, he ranks among Nigeria's all time highest goal scorers and his important goals in the 2000 and 2002 Nations cup helped Nigeria progress to the semis. He should be somewhere between 11 and 20. I don't think Mikiel Obi deserves mention for now, even at 46. I don't think he has contributed significantly to be among our all time best, maybe we'll see after this Nations cup. He should be replaced with Gabral Lawal who surprisingly didn't even feature on the list. Nice article anyway.

  4. Whoever compiled the list is an imbecile.First, Nigeria don't keep records of Athletes. No Nigerian has the authority to name 50 Greatest players of all time.I can name 10 players that were omitted from the list, which should have been named.Players like Segun Olumodeji,Baba Otu Mohammed,Kunle Awesu,Agbonifo,Sunny Oyarekua,Sam Opone, Nigeria former captain.Lawal Inua Rigogo,Peter Fregene,Andrew Ategbu,Damian Ogunsuyi and Yakubu Mambo. I can name more great players. You never see England naming best 50 players in their country. No any other country name 50 best players, but fools in Nigeria. Not in France,Brazil,Italy or Soviet Union. The list is who you like, kiss their Asses and so on.
