Morocco is the country that won the right to host the 2010 FIFA World Cup, not South Africa, a new report has claimed.

This is the latest in the loads of corruption allegations levelled against FIFA.

According to the report, the Moroccans won the right to organise the tournament.

This revelation was made known by an ex-FIFA executive Ismail Bhamjee to an undercover reporter.

He said the North African nation beat South Africa by two votes.

‘After talking with everybody whose votes went where – we’re all colleagues, you know. And then we found out that actually Morocco won by two votes. Please, this is very secret.’ Bhamjee is quoted as saying.

Bhamjee also claimed that Morocco paid a $1 million bribe to then CONCACAF president Warner.
