Kenyan Opposition Protest Gets Bloody

The ongoing protest in Kenya by he opposition Cord alliance has become deadly as the police reportedly fired live bullets at protesters.


Kenyan media house, DAILY NATION is reporting that two people have been confirmed dead, one in Kisumu and another in Siaya, as the weekly protest against IEBC commissioners turned violent. The death toll could increase as another motionless body is still lying on an open road in Siaya County while five people are fighting for their lives at Siaya County referral hospital with serious injuries.

Also, several protesters have been arrested.

The opposition Cord alliance wants the current members of the electoral commission to resign ahead of next year's presidential election.
