A woman in her forties was on Wednesday dragged to the Adabraka police station for allegedly selling human parts as meat.

According to the market women at the Adabraka market, the suspect confessed that she was sent by a pastor to sell the “human meat” as rituals.

“She confessed that it is human meat and that her pastor gave it to her to perform some rituals. The women think she cannot perform such ritual at the market so they dragged her to the Police station,” a market woman told Citi FM.

Meanwhile the police at Adabraka in Accra are investigating the matter. Public relations officer for the Accra police ASP Efia Tenge confirmed the news and said the meat has been sent to the Laboratory to undergo tests to prove if it is human meat.
