Ghana's Asamoah Gyan Linked With Fulham

Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan could be set for a move to English club Fulham.

Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan could be set for a move to English club Fulham.

The Black Stars attacker is currently on the books of Chinese Super League club Shanghai SIPG, but a combination of injuries and the arrival of Brazilian Hulk has seen him spending more time on the bench than the pitch.

Gyan, who played in the Premier League for Sunderland from 2010 to 2012, would reportedly welcome the chance to work with Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic.

The 30-year-old is rumoured to be flying in for a medical with the London club this week, though his wage demands may prove a stumbling block, given that he currently earns a reported £227,000-a-week in the Chinese capital.

Turkish club Besiktas are also said to be keen on the services of the striker, who has played in three World Cups for Ghana.
