Zambia confirm October 9 for World Cup qualifier against Nigeria

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ), has fixed October 9 for the 2018 World Cup qualifier between Zambia and Nigeria in Ndola.


This new date is six days outside the initial October 3.

The Chipolopolo will be hoping to begin their bid to qualify for the World Cup on a positive note, after failing to grab a ticket to next year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.

Both teams last met at the 2013 AFCON in South Africa and the game ended 1-1.

Algeria and Cameroon are the other teams in this World Cup qualifying group.
