Egypt Name Foreign-Based Players For Ghana Match
Egypt have announced the names of 10 foreign-based players who will be called into their squad for next month’s 2018 World Cup qualifier against Ghana.
The Pharaohs will welcome the Black Stars to the Borg El Arab Stadium outside of Alexandria for a Group E clash on November 13.
The national team’s technical staff, led by coach Hector Cuper, confirmed the following 10 players based outside of Egypt will be in the squad:
Defenders: Mohamed Abdel-Shafy (Al Ahli, UAE), Omar Gaber (FC Basel)
Midfielders: Ahmed Elmohamady (Hull City), Amr Warda (Panetolikos F.C.), Mahmoud Hassan Trézéguet (Royal Excel Mouscron), Ramadan Sobhi (Stoke City), Mahmoud Kahraba (Ittihad FC, UAE), Mohamed Elneny (Arsenal)
Forwards: Mohamed Salah (Roma), Ahmed Hassan Kouka (S.C. Braga)
