Pregnant teen raped 25 times by “native doctor”

A 16-year -old girl has told a chilling story of how a native doctor who was supposed to help her abort a pregnancy raped her severally.

According to the victim, the suspect said having sexual intercourse with her was the only way to terminate the pregnancy successfully.

She further narrated that the self-styled native doctor gave her concoctions and alcohol to weaken her, then he would have sex with her while she stayed at his house.

Telling her ordeal to Joy News, the victim said he had sex with her 25 times in the five days that she lived with him.

“He slept with me in the mornings, afternoons, evenings and at dawn when my boyfriend was lying beside me. He would tap me and beckon me away from where my boyfriend slept and had sex with me,” the victim said in Twi.

Meanwhile, the police in the Awutu-Breku, Ghana district have arrested the boyfriend of the victim, and the self-styled native doctor after a complaint was lodged by the girl's family.
