Manchester Clubs Battle It Out For Serge Aurier
Paris Saint-Germain and Ivory Coast defender Serge Aurier could be the subject of a tug of war between Manchester United and Manchester City.
With Antonio Valencia injured and Matteo Darmian not trusted by manager Jose Mourinho, the Red Devils are in the market for a new right-sided defender.
United also sent scouts to watch Aurier play for the Elephants in their international friendly with France in Lens on Tuesday night.
However, they could face stiff competition for the Ivorian’s services, with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City also rumoured to be keen on the player.
Napoli and Atletico Madrid are also said to be admirers of the player, while PSG will only relinquish the defender if a hefty sum comes their way. Aurier is under contract at the French club until 2019.
