On Thursdays Live from E!, Ken Baker, Marc Malkin and Arlene Santana welcomed Michelle Obama to the popular world of Instagram.
Her first photo? A group pic in Africa (where she and President Barack Obama are currently traveling with their daughters, Malia and Sasha) captioned, "My first instagram! So inspired and so impressed by these extraordinary young women. –mo #FLOTUSinAfrica."
Racking up 95,000 followers in less than 24 hours, this addition to Instagram came not long after the White House made an official account (the only user the first lady is following as of now).
Mr. Obama is also known for setting social media milestones, having been the very first presidential candidate to use Twitter for his campaign.
Another recent political addition to the social media world is none other than Hillary Clinton who just joined Twitter earlier this month.
