CNN Broadcaster Zain Asher Speaks Igbo On TV (Watch)

CNN ace broadcaster Zain Asher proved to the world that she is Nigerian after speaking Igbo (her local dialect) on screen.

Asked during an interview if she does consider herself a Nigerian, without flinching she said, “I’m 100 per cent Nigerian”. To back her claim, she reached out to her viewers in Igbo leaving everyone in the interview room agape.

The petit broadcaster was born in the United Kingdom but had two year’s of schooling in Nigeria, precisely in Enugu, Enugu State.

Asher who is sister to popular actor, Chiwetel Ejiofor, will host the 20th edition of the CNN/Multichoice African Journalists Awards ceremony in Nairobi, Kenya.
