Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has released a statement that Senegal and Palace defender Pape Souare will be discharged from hospital on Friday.
The information comes after the defender was involved in a car crash on Sunday and suffered jaw and thigh injuries.
Parish said in a statement that the defender will recover from the injury as the boss announced the news on Tuesday.
The Senegalese full-back was airlifted to hospital on Sunday after suffering thigh and jaw injuries in an accident on the M4 motorway.
"Thanks to the fantastic response of the emergency services who cut him from the car and the amazing surgeons, doctors and staff at the Royal London Hospital he is expected to make a full recovery and should be discharged on Friday,” reads a statement.
"We would like to make special mention of the London Air Ambulance service who flew Pape directly from the scene to the hospital ensuring that he rapidly had access to the very best medical care.
The 26-year-old has featured in three English Premier League matches this season and has joined the Eagles from French side Lille in January 2015.
