A photo of an unidentified man said to be a U.S. Navy Officer is making its rounds on the Internet, as his silent protest against President Obama’s willingness to intervene in Syria speaks volumes.
The photo shows a man dressed up as a U.S. Navy Officer covering his face with a sign that has a very clear message.

“I DIDN’T JOIN THE NAVY TO FIGHT FOR AL QAEDA IN A SYRIAN CIVIL WAR!” reads the sign.

The photo was originally posted on zerohedge.com, by its perennial ghostwriter, Tyler Durden.

The photo is certainly a serious declaration, as the general sentiment shared by most is the United States does not need, nor can it afford, to involve itself in this sort of conflict.

With the people who are going to fight for us against this conflict, what business do we have sending them out there?
