Kenyan Singer In Recovery After Attempting To Commit Suicide (PICTURED)

Kenyan singer Diana Chelele was admitted to Nakuru General Hospital on Saturday after an attempted suicide.

The singer who is a popular star in Kenya was reportedly found unconscious in a hotel in Nakuru after she informed her friends of her actions.

She had travelled from Eldoret earlier on the day after a thrilling performance and was scheduled to perform in Kitengela over the weekend.

According to sources close to her, Chelele's motive to commit suicide was marriage and legal woes that have been trailing her for the past few months.

The “Pusurability” singer has had a controversial love life with her marriage reportedly on the rocks.  In 2012 she was arraigned in court after being linked to death of an Eldoret surveyor but was later released.

Chelele was discharged from Nakuru General Hospital on Sunday evening and is in her her rural home in Kapkwen, Bomet where she is currently recovering.

She has released numerous Kalenjin hit song among them Chelele Binti Osama, Wrong number, Elifut among other songs.
