Nairobi Pastor beaten by angry mob after being caught with another man's wife

A popular man of God in Kenya, Sammy Ndwiga, received the beating of his life after an angry mob descended on him and almost lynched him after he was caught red handed having sex with the wife of another man, Nairobi Wire reports.


Ndwiga, who is known as a preacher in the Embu district, was caught sleeping with another man’s wife at Bonanza Estate around 3am by the man, a staff of the Kenya Power Authority and would have been lynched by the mob before Administration Police officers rescued him and the woman.

Pastor Ndwiga who is said to be a minister with the Faith of Miracles Church, however, told the police that he was at the house for overnight prayers with the woman when she seduced him.

“I came for prayers and nothing else but she seduced me. I usually hold special night long prayers with my faithful on Wednesday. I will no longer conduct prayers in people’s homes,” he pleaded.

The husband of the woman said he had been tipped off by neighbours about the preacher’s nocturnal visits at his house and decided to lay a trap.

On the night of the incident, the husband said that he locked the door from outside after the preacher had spent hours in the house and called for help from his friends but when he heard his voice, the preacher started praying loudly and rebuking demons.
“I saw him enter the house at 9pm and called my friends before we stormed the house at 3am. I was called on Sunday after he was spotted, but by the time I arrived, he had left. This time round, my wife thought I was far away and was not bothered."

"My wife is promiscuous and this is not the first time. I have reported two matters connected to her infidelity to the police.

There was a doctor who used to stay here and sometimes people spotted her coming out of his house while skimpily dressed. When I discovered it, the medic moved. She moved on to a teacher,” the husband said.
