I trust my team to beat Ghana - Cuper
Hector Cuper says he has trust in his Egyptian team to defeat Ghana in this weekend’s 2018 World Cup qualifier.
The Pharaohs will host the Black Stars in Alexandria on Sunday for a crunch Group E clash, with the North Africans looking to extend their lead at the top of the standings.
"I trust my squad and we are confident in our abilities to win," Cuper said on Sunday when asked about their chances of beating the Ghanaians.
"I trust my players who are determined to clinch the three points.”
The match could be crucial in deciding who tops the group and qualifies for the World Cup in Russia 2018.
Ghana are seeking a fourth successive qualification to the global tournament, while Egypt have not reached the finals since 1990.
