A Message To DStv From African Youths About Big Brother Africa THE CHASE

More and more people seem concerned about this year's Big Brother Africa - The Chase.
A few days after we published recent nude pictures of housemates released by organizers, yet another letter has emerged complaining about The Chase.

A group calling itself, 'African Youth' has written to Biggie crying foul about the housemates' behavior  Here's the message;

We African youths wish to ask DSTV to give us a BBA where African Youths are rewarded for creativity and hard work, thereby promoting entrepreneurship and not this morally-loosed show where single parents who can’t keep their relationships go into the house to show their sagging breasts and addiction, mixed-up with ill-mannered people and get rewarded, producing international prostitutes and gigolo. Haba!

Promoting immoral sex is “unafrican”. The BBA is all about immoral behavior and that is why it attracts lots of fans. You can’t be making money at the expense of your viewer’s lives. If you don’t do something about this, a time will come when the seeds you are sowing into the lives of African youths will germinate to hunt you and your generations yet unborn. There seem to be no single morality lesson to learn than sex and immorality.

DSTV has the best entertainment programming available from across the globe with superior technological innovation that provides unforgettable television viewing experience! If we call BBA entertainment then our sanity, morality and desire for the growth of the African youths needs to be questioned.

How long does it take to imbibe a habit? 21 days; and BBA runs for 90 days!!!, subtly making people become addicted to bad habits.

We say “NO” to such TV reality shows without moral value!

From,

Forward-Looking African Youths.

  2. Yea that was from Ayomitide. A program which contains no edutive values should not be televised. We have nothing to learn from BBA except viewing some immoral act n naked peeps bathing. BBa should venture into something different that will build africa's youth.

  3. Stop watching if it offends you. This is a matter of personal preference and CHOICE.DSTV has not somehow glued your eyes to this channel. Also, the program as a rating, which indicates N - Nudity, L - Language, S -Sexual scenes, etc. if you are not a hypocrite, then there is a simple solution - stop watching. This dictatorial tendency and bigotry of Africans is becoming annoying. In Nigeria, you need to actually subscribe to and activate he BBA channel - so it does not magically appear on your TV set, and drag you screaming and shouting to sit in front of it, and then tune to the channel, and somehow restrain you from doing anything else. Offended, go watch one of the born-again pastor channels, and quit bitching.

    2. U have said it all. The hypocrites actually sit 2 4 7 with their eyes glued to the tv set. When u r watching American films where everything seems so real, when sexual activity is going on, u either tone to another channel and later continue or better still u keep ur eyes open cos u don't want to miss any detail. Its ur choice.

  4. I am in full support of this movement,a morally loose show for real. I have not bothered with their stupid bba show after bba1 with Bayo, and bba 2, what has subsequently followed is a bunch of sex hungry housemates, desperate to have life-sex and stay in the house. What a decay in our morals. God is truelly watching, I weep more for our kids, at this rate of indecency!!!

  5. Good; let them note and change. I wonder how someone bathing in privacy has become public matter in BBA! Rubbish!

  6. I, seriously believe the program is rated 18 and above which means it is not meant for everyone. again like the second person said since the program is not Godly to you then i suggest you stop watching rather then asking DSTV stop viewing it for those interested, as for me i do not watch it so.
