Those were the words of Somadina Enyiobi, a 26-year-old car snatcher who was yesterday sentenced to two years imprisonment without an option of fine.
He added that before he agreed to come to Lagos from his village in Oraifite, Anambra State, he knew his mission was to steal because his brother, Uchechukwu, who brought him to Lagos in 2014, clearly told him about their car snatching business. .
He revealed that whenever Uchechukwu returned to their village, he usually came with huge money which he would use to buy them drinks and encouraged him to join him in Lagos. .
He was recently caught at Green Estate, Ago Palace Way while attempting to escape with a stolen a Venza SUV. He said his gang engaged in other criminal activities but specialised in car snatching because it was a bit easier than armed robbery.
