Ayew Ruled Out of Stoke Clash
Swansea City midfielder Andre Ayew has been ruled out of his team's trip to Stoke City on Saturday.
Ayew picked up an ankle injury in March which kept him out of the Swans’ last two Premier League clashes, as well as Ghana’s 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Mozambique.
He is now set to miss a third Premier League game, as he is not yet fully recovered despite having resumed light training this week.
"He [Ayew] is not fit,” Guidolin told British media in a press conference.
"He is getting better, but is not ready for Saturday. He could be ready for the game against Chelsea."
Ayew, who joined the Welsh outfit from Marseille last June, has been a regular in his maiden Premier League season, featuring in all but one of their top-flight games before picking up the ankle injury.
