Meet Nigeria & West Africa’s First Female Heart Surgeon, Dr. Mgbajah Ogadimma

In a field dominated by men, Nigerian doctor Mgbajah Ogadimma has broken the jinx to become the first female heart surgeon not just in the country but in the whole of West Africa.


She took to her Twitter page to share the exciting news that she’s gone against all odds to become Nigeria and West Africa’s first female heart surgeon. She wrote this via her Twitter:
