Popular Kenyan Photographer Allegedly Goes Missing After Accusations Of Being A Terrorist

Following his arrest as a ‘terrorism suspect’ about a year ago, 35-year-old Kenyan photographer, Msingi Sasis claimed he lost everything he has ever owned after auctioneers carried away what they believed to be valuable assets – this includes his clothing and other personal items.

In a disturbing Facebook post, the talented noir photographer, whose work has been acknowledged both locally and internationally, announced that he was about to become homeless after everything was taken away by his landlord for defaulting on rent obligations for several months.

BEING A ‘TERROR SUSPECT’ MEANS I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE EARN A LIVING AT ALL. NOT BEING ABLE TO EARN A LIVING HAS MENT I THAT I HAVE FALLEN INTO AND HAVE BEEN ACCUMULATING MULTIPLE DEBTS.I HAVE SUFFERED THIS SILENTLY AND ALONE, UNTIL THIS POINT. I HAVE TO TELL EVERYONE WHO FOUND ANY INSIGHT AND INSPIRATION IN MY WORK GOODBYE.
Five days later after a number of retweets and reposts on social media by those claiming to care, it’s alleged that Msingi is now missing, and no one apparently knows where he could have disappeared to.
