The 36-year-old has hearkened to our words of wisdom and it’s an amazing feeling.
Going by a new photo making the rounds, the Mavin records singer will make an appearance in the sixth season of popular TV sitcom Jenifa’s Diary.
With this, the If I Start To Talk crooner joins the likes of eLDee, Waje, Banky W, Toke Makinwa and Falz as Nigerian celebrities who have featured in Jenifa’s Diary.
On Wednesday, May 4, Funke Akindele who is the producer of Jenifa’s Diary took to her Instagram to share the picture of Tiwa on set which she captioned:
“#jenifasdiary #season6 #filming with @tiwasavage #superstar #Ilovemytiwa #strongwoman #womensupportingwomen”
Tiwa will be making her second appearance in a TV series by virtue of this.
Recall that she appeared in season three of MTV’s Shuga Naija in 2013 alongside radio host Maria Okanrende, Sharon Ezeamaka, Timini Egbuson, Dorcas Shola Fapson and Efa Iwara.
Jenifa’s Diary is a comedy series based on the life and escapades of Funke ‘Suliat’ Akindele who also goes by the name Jenifa in the TV series.
The show has seen considerable success in Nigeria over the years. In 2016, it got Funke the award for Best Comedy Actress for her role in the TV series just as rapper Falz won for Best Comedy Actor for his role in Jenifa.
On April 28, Tunji ‘Tee Billz’ Balogun started a vortex of controversies after his infamous Instagram rants which were eventually deleted.
In return, Tiwa Savage conducted an all-revealing interview on April 29 in which she revealed several messy details in her relationship with (ex) husband Tee Billz.
Both actions have seen the pair remain a huge topic of discussion in Nigeria in the last few days but Tiwa has shown strength in character and resolve in getting back on track.
