Ahead of their highly anticipated 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Senegal next month, Bafana Bafana coach Shakes Mashaba has announced his squad.

The South Africans are now getting ready to meet the Lions of Teranga as they want to reach the world's football showpiece.

Mashaba is aware that their failure to reach the 2017 CAF Africa Cup of nations tournament in Gabon means they must fight harder.

However, a notable inclusion in the team is Bidvest Wits on-form winger Daine Klate and Asavela Mbekile of Mamelodi Sundowns.

On the other hand, SuperSport United's goalkeeper Ronwen Williams makes his return to the national side after he was overlooked in the previous qualifier.

In their opening Group D tie against Burkina Faso, Bafana drew 1-1 and will now target a victory at home in Peter Mokaba Stadium on November 12.

The full squad:

Goalkeepers: Williams, Khune, Mhlongo

Defenders: Mphahlele, Coetzee, Hlatshwayo, Daniels, Mbekile, Langerman, Mathoho, Matlaba

Midfielders: Furman, Kekana, Jali, Mahlangu, Makola, Patosi, Dolly, Klate, Serero, Phala

Strikers: Vilakazi, Rodgers, Grobler, Veldwijk
