Just as Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure looked to have turned the corner, the midfielder now finds himself in hot water once more - this time for something more serious with the Premier League footballer charged with drink driving.
The 33-year-old was stopped in Dagenham, East London, on Monday evening, according to the police.
The Ivorian was charged the following day and is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates' Court on 13 December according to Sky Sports News.
Toure, who came off the bench in the clubs 3-1 defeat to Chelsea on Saturday, has only just made a return to the Sky Blues first team.
The former Barcelona man was recalled back to the City squad last month after apologising for comments made by his agent Dimitri Seluk.
