The Confederation of African Football have bowed to pressure from Nigerian champions Enyimba and have now shifted their Group B Champions League clash against Egyptian side Zamalek from Saturday to Monday.

The continent's soccer governing body had earlier stated that the the game would be played on Saturday instead of the original scheduled day, which was Sunday, due to security concerns in Cairo.

The decision led to Enyimba officials filing a protest letter to the body stating that the last minute shift in date was against the rules guiding the game.

CAF have communicated the new date to both Zamalek and Enyimba officials.

Enyimba who are yet to record a point in the group stages following defeats in their opening two games must win the tie to salvage their hopes of making it to the semi-finals.

The game will be played at the Petrosport Stadium, Cairo. Kick off time is 7.30pm Nigerian time.
